Interdisciplinary Visual Artist

“My practice grows out of a quiet attentiveness to the delicate, near-invisible edges that slip from sensing. A touch, a moment, a feeling, a motion that fade yet take root. I salvage and gather them, trying to hold them longer than their given lifetime. My work is an invitation to pause.”

Title: As the Tide Circling Your Feet
Series: Hope Landscape I
Type: Public Art Installation
Location: Variable Public Shoreline, Dubai, UAE
Medium: Mixed media on stone
Dimensions: Variable
Year: 2023–2024
Work Description:
As gentle waves circle the viewer’s feet, inscribed pebbles rest along the shoreline, absorbing sunlight by day and softly glowing after dusk. This subtle transformation reflects hope as a quiet, enduring presence—often invisible, yet always latent. Situated at the fragile boundary between land and sea, the installation explores cycles of disappearance and return, inviting contemplation of impermanence, resilience, and renewal.

Title: The Landscape of Hope
Series: Hope Landscape III
Type: Site-specific Installation
Location: Al Shindagha Museum, 2026, Dubai, UAE
Medium: Mixed media on stone
Dimensions: Variable
Year: 2026
Work Description:
Using sand as the canvas of the work, Sand, Wind, Sun draws attention to the unfamiliar within the familiar, creating a subtle cultural and regional dialogue embedded in the landscape itself. Carried by the wind, touched by the sun, and settled within shifting terrains, the stones hold a quiet presence—both fleeting and enduring—whispering of hope that persists even in the face of change. Scattered across mountains, greenery, and desert, they rest at the fragile threshold between permanence and impermanence, inviting contemplation of resilience, belonging, and transformation.

Title: Shivelight
Series: Insistence I
Type: Sculpture / Installation
Location: Al Shindagha Museum, 2026, Dubai, UAE
Medium: Hand-shaped salvaged tree bark, reflective metal leaf, mixed media
Dimensions: Variable
Year: 2026
Work Description:
A suspended sculpture formed from hand-shaped salvaged tree bark and reflective material, Shivelight embodies cycles of decay and renewal. The title refers to the old word meaning the shafts of light that filter through trees — a fleeting phenomenon made tangible through bark fragments carrying memory of growth and loss, interlaced with reflective surfaces that catch and transform light. A fragile vertical presence, it gathers and releases illumination, inviting stillness and an awareness of what is often overlooked: the invisible, the possible, the quietly luminous.

Title: The Wave
Series: Hope Landscape II
Type: Sculpture / Installation
Location: Tashkeel Gallery Space at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE
Medium: Mirror, wood, and mixed media with hand-written stones
Dimensions: 60 cm H x 120cm W x 4 Meter L
Year: 2023 - 2024
Work Description:
Between reflection and reality, between past and future, hope moves like a wave—unseen yet unstoppable, shaping everything in its path.
A sculptural installation translating the rhythm of waves into physical form, The Wave explores the dialogue between reflection and movement. A mirrored structure, bending in opposing directions, produces an illusion of continuous motion, while a parallel line of stones advances through space in a quiet, sustained progression. Resting on the surface yet carrying the weight of what lies beneath, the stones introduce a counterpoint to the reflective flow—an axis of stillness that both resists and completes the wave’s movement.
The work turns toward the tension between surface and depth, proposing that what remains unseen quietly determines what comes into view.

Title: The Darker, The Brighter
Type: Multi-piece Space Installation
Location: Total Arts Gallery at Courtyard, Dubai, UAE
Medium: Video, audio, and multi-piece hand-printed reflective textile sculpture
Dimensions: 8 meter high
Year: 2024
Work Description:
A long time ago, someone I loved gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this was a gift. It took me years to learn that darkness both defies and defines brightness. When I finally discovered this, something began to grow—something many call hope.
A large-scale darkroom installation unfolds across the entire gallery, examining the paradox of darkness and light. Controlled illumination, reflective textiles, and sound shape a spatial field in which brightness emerges only through contrast—where darkness becomes the condition for its existence.
As viewers move through the space, reflections shift and sonic atmospheres respond subtly to their presence. The Darker, The Brighter reconsiders visibility and absence, inviting a gradual transformation through perception.

"Soft light breaks the dark,
Petals unfurl in the dawn,
A spark in the still."

WORDS
HANDS, HEARTS, SKINS, EYES

"Hands, Hearts, Skins, Eyes" Series.
"Language is the incomplete translation of feelings." is a poetic and metaphorical exploration of the world of words and their role in communication. The series reflects on the invisible aspects of language—the hollowness of words and their cognitive perceptions. It delves into the experience of words beyond their conventional interpretations, where body, hands, heart, skin, or eyes transform words into something and somewhere beyond themselves in the deep self. Words weave through us, creating a tapestry of meaning that is felt rather than merely understood within their hollowness.
